What or how had you planned to make your Dream Life happen?

A story:

We’ve all heard about the “one that got away”, right?

It was THIS big, it weighed a ton, was so nice… and on and on. 

Well, sometimes our early dreams about all the things we wanted to do and be when we grew up are like that. It was always a big dream, and likely you were as purpose-driven as anything, even ready to live that dream life at its fullest potential.

Your dream life likely had so many interesting attributes and features and especially all sorts of benefits to be had: the glam, the glory, the respect of others… till that dream faded. Then there was another and another.

Doesn’t that also sound like all those dreams you had for your life, as they slipped through the cracks and got away from you?

Where did those ideas and dreams of a marvelous life go? Or did they go anywhere, really?

Is this where you blink-blink then go blankety-blank-blank like a deer in headlights, not sure “what the hey happened in my life“? Where’s the life I had so wanted, the life I had big dreams about?

Does it feel like “the one that got away”?

Is it even possible to imagine and feel not only those dreams of days gone by but to actually bring one of them into reality?

But what if I’m not worthy of it, what if there are too many obstacles, what if I just don’t have what it takes, what if I lose my nerve, 

The answer is yes, of course. Yes it can be done with 

“Your subconscious mind does not fuss with what you focus upon. It accepts what you consciously decide. If you say, “I can’t do it, I don’t have the know-how, I am not smart enough”, your subconscious mind starts working on its instructions to make it so. Select a more constructive and empowering framework. Decide, “I can do it. I accept it now.”
